Rogue Terminal started as an immersive art experience consisting of a re-construction of Quincey’s childhood home. The exhibit took place in Buffalo NY and was up for about 6 months. Explore a 3D tour of the space below.

The layout of the house was based on this map I drew when I was a kid. The locations are all named after places from “The Legend of Zelda” Ocarina of Time” and, “The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask”.

A closeup of my house on the map. My mom's closet was marked as a cemetery, and my room was the "castle"

To deliver the narrative in the exhibit, I wrote a choose-your-own-adventure style book called “Nostraumina” (a mashup of the words nostalgia, trauma, and Termina, another LoZMM reference).

Mid construction of the space, all the drywall up but no paint or doors.

Security cam footage of the house I set up over a night of activity.

People playing Mario kart on the N64 in the living room.

The first concept art I put together for the game, before doing any research at all into how it was going to happen.
